A few weeks ago I got an opportunity to test drive the new 2011 Cadillac CTS.  My husband and I are in the market for a new car, and we feel it’s important to support US manufacturers.  I come from a family that purchases American made cars.  As a matter of fact, I learned how to drive in a 1989 Cadillac Coupe de Ville.  I remember driving the hills of San Francisco.

I fell in love with the new Cadillac CTS as soon as I saw it.  It screams sleek sophistication and luxury. Every detail of the car from the way it opens to the way you start the engine has been designed to perfection.  I loved the fact that I could start the car from my bedroom window and it would be warmed up by the time I was ready to go.

The steering wheel was smooth to the touch.  The leather seats were so comfortable, at one point I forgot I was sitting in a car.  I’ve driven plenty of luxury cars in my day, but this one tops them all.  It felt like this car was designed specifically for me. The smooth ride of the Cadillac was just as I remembered.  Although the car was low to the ground, I barely felt a single bump.

My children also loved the car! My seven year even ditched the all so cool school bus, with all his friends, to ride in luxury.  My father, who was visiting from California, enjoyed the ride as well.  He was impressed with the interior, speed and the On Star hands free calling.

So, needless to say, we are definitely considering a Cadillac for our next family car.
