Eco-Beautiful Weddings Magazine Launch Party!
By admin on Jan 29, 2010 with Comments 1
There is something to be said about being a pioneer in any industry. It’s rare to be the first to do anything nowadays and in the wedding industry, where waste is overwhelming and expected, the Eco-Beautiful Weddings Magazine launch party marks a step in a different direction.. A new era of wedding professionals and brides has arrived! The Eco-Beautiful Wedding Magazine (EBW) celebration kicked off at the swanky 632 on Hudson where the Cotton Bride showcased two dresses lit up like art sculptures and were most appropriate for the occasion. Staying true to the Green theme of the evening, guests sipped on mixed drinks sponsored by Honest Tea and locally produced wine by the City Winery NYC and all the organic food provided by The Cleaver Co.
The POLISHED team was all in attendance which included our very own Robin Fisher, Style Editor for EBW, along with Katie Martin, Chief Editor of EBW, and Michelle Slaughter, Managing Editor EBW. Other rawkstar attendees included The Broke Ass Bride and Fresh Hubby, Carolyn Gerin author of the Anti-Bride, Emily Anderson author of the Eco-Chic Weddings and many wedding professionals and bloggers in the industry. As it relates to style and fashion and we simply can’t help ourselves.. we have to mention Ms. Martin was adorned in a breathtaking piece courtesy of Marlaina Stone’s collection from the Avedon Exhibit at the Detroit Institute of Art and styled by Robin Fisher (pictured above). Overall – stellar party!
